OUR STORE, OUR STORY

How it all began

Welcome to The Village Greens, your in-store and online destination for the freshest fruits and vegetables! Nestled in the heart of Dore at 20 Church Lane, our story is one of heritage, evolution, and a commitment to quality that spans generations.

At The Village Greens, we take pride in offering an extensive selection of locally sourced products & produce, carefully curated to ensure freshness and flavor. From farm-fresh greens to succulent berries and everything in between, each item is handpicked with care and delivered straight to your door.

But The Village Greens is more than just a grocery store; we're a cornerstone of the community. Our dedicated team is committed to providing professional and attentive service, demonstrating our care for your needs. Whether you need assistance selecting the perfect ingredients for a recipe or simply want to chat, we're here for you. We believe in fostering connections and building relationships that go beyond transactions.

Formerly known as Hartleys Fruit Cabin with Mark and Cheryl at the helm, the shop's journey began with a simple mission: to provide our community with a friendly face and the finest produce available. In 2019, Anna and Craig reimagined it as The Village Greens, undertaking a full renovation of the shop. Their dedication and hard work carried the legacy until April 2024, when James and Kirsty took the reins, continuing the commitment to quality and community.

Thank you for choosing The Village Greens as your trusted source for premium produce. We're honored to be a part of your culinary journey and look forward to serving you with excellence for years to come.
